Didyma teichi

The Cultural and Folklore Association “TA DIDYMA TEICHI” was founded in 2001 and since then has a significant cultural presentation in the city of Didymoteicho. Αlways approaching with respect everything that is defined by the term of traditional heritage and admiration to all forms of artistic expression.

It numbers 350 active members and has eight traditional dancing groups of all ages, two theatrical groups and two choir groups, for adults and children as well. The Association has organized and has participated in numerous dancing, choral and theatrical performances within the city of Didymoteicho and throughout Greece as well as abroad.(Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria and Italy).
At the same time, organizes charity events, literary presentations, tribute performances, as well as activities that appeal to all age and educational level of the public and especially to children. Specifically, two outdoor activities have a great impact on children. The first is on summer, in a day dedicated to children's group games and the second one is a Christmas celebration which has 15 days duration, a fairy-tale setting, surprises, happenings and many creative activities.
