The museum is placed in the basement of the Panagia Eleftherotria Church. Is has a remarkable collection of holy pictures and other sacred objects, vestments etc. A big part of the holy pictures is from the end of the Byzantine period till the 20th century. The pictures are of different styles.

Some of the exhibits are rare and of a great value.
